Timber Creek Park: 9-acre Dog Park in New Jersey
Fall is here! The air is crisp and the leaves will change color soon. One thing I miss about the Poconos is having amazing hiking trails nearby. Though Philadelphia doesn't have mountains to hike, there are some hidden gems near by.

If you’re looking for a fun place to take your pup over the weekend, you must visit Timber Creek Park in Blackwood, NJ. Timber Creek is 128 acre forest featuring a playground, hiking trails, lake, and 9-acre off leash dog park.
It's right over the bridge! A great place for fur babes and children. We took Luna, our 6 month old goldendoodle, to hit the trails and teach her how to swim. If your dog likes to run and swim this place is for you! Our experience was great and we cant wait to go again. Luna was tired for two days just from playing with all the other dogs... and children (she loves little girls).
So, pack some snacks and have a ball!
*Most dogs were well behaved off leash, around both people and pets. If you don't believe your pet will enjoy or react well in this type of environment, we highly recommend socializing them in a more intimate setting.
